The Beau-A-Belles (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) are a special chapter of sisters. They're all "real" sisters and singing nuns called The
Sisters of the Holy Rock. Inspired by the popular "Sister Act" movies starring Whoopi Goldberg, the songbirds perform under the
direction of the Reverend Mother Carole "Whoopi" Stone. When they’re not out singing, the sisters love to get out of their black and
white habits, and dress up in their red and purple regalia for regular Red Hat outings, led by Queen Emily Saint Marie.

Queen Sandy Huie of the Sassy Sisters of Martinez (Martinez, CA) wrote us a touching letter about the passing of her husband in August
and the loyal support she received from her fellow Red Hatters who came to the funeral in full Red Hat regalia. Presiding over the
services was a Pastor Anderson who was so taken with the whole idea of the Red Hatters that he kept mentioning them. Said Sandy, "I can
only thank all my Red Hat sisters for being on this journey with me, standing by me and supporting me so generously. I would also like
to say that I am so glad to be in a group of ladies that can make such an impression on a Pastor that we would become a subject of a
Sunday sermon!"

The Red Hat Mammas with Hattitudes (Cypress, TX) took a summer field trip to the Pleasant Hill Winery and participated in the traditional grape stomping. Led by
Queen Sabrina McClure, the ladies had blast jumping in bare feet first – a la Lucy and Ethel style- in one of the all-time favorite episodes from the nostalgic
classic "I Love Lucy" a TV series.

The Kazoo Man, Rick Hubbard of Kazaoobie Kazoos, entertained the Saxy Ladies (The Villages, FL) at their chapter's monthly meeting in September. About 100 ladies laughed, sang,
danced, blew bubbles and hummed in their kazoos along with Rick as he entertained them with his wonderful new show dedicated to Red Hatters. Queen Linda Decker asked him for
an encore performance at their annual Red Hat Golf cart parade next April.

The Yarmouth Seaside Red Hatters of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada gathered at the Rodd Grand Hotel last week for their annual "Fall Frolic At The Grand." About 130
Red Hatters from around Nova Scotia and five ladies from the province of Ontario spent a wonderful weekend together. In May 2005, 285 ladies came to town for a
weekend of fun, frivolity and laughter. Laughter truly is the best medicine! Queen Mother Dorothy Vallillee made the beautiful dolls pictured to give as prizes at
both events.

When Linda J. Stilson, Queen Mum of the Ravishing Red Ravens (Prescott Valley, AZ) twisted her knee and had to use a cane, any ol' cane wouldn't do. So, she bought a
handmade cane at an antique store, painted and decorated it. She got lots of raves over her it which admirers describe as "cute as a button." The Queen Mum has two
books published including "Shattered Dreams and Broken Hearts" about the loss of her son, whom she also wrote a song for entitled "No Greater Loss."
