The chapter logo shown here may be used by Official Red Hat Society Chapter Queens on Official Red Hat Society chapter web sites, name tags, chapter rosters, chapter newsletters, chapter event fliers, and the like without special permission, provided that it is not used to market or endorse goods or services of any kind, used to defame the Red Hat Society in any way, or used in connection with objectionable material, as determined by the Red Hat Society, Inc. We do however specify that any chapter member using the chapter logo must include the name of her chapter above, beside or below the Red Hat Society Chapter logo so as not to cause confusion.
For Example: "The Good Golly, Miss Molly" Chapter of Red Hat Society.

If you don't like using the gif file, it may be much easier to use stickers or stamps of the logo which are available in the Red Hat Society Store. We also have Red Hat Society Logo iron-on appliqués which may be used on chapter or event shirts. Red Hat Society Logo T-shirts are designed with a large amount of blank space on the front also, in case chapters wish to have their chapter names imprinted there. We currently do not provide screen printing services, however.

If the items you would like to see bearing the logo are not available in the Red Hat Society Store, you may secure the rights to produce items bearing the Red Hat Society Official Chapter Logo for your chapter only by completing a Red Hat Society Chapter Logo Usage Contract. The Red Hat Society Chapter Logo Usage Contract was designed to protect the Red Hat Society trademark and logo while still allowing Official Members of the Red Hat Society access to high-resolution digital files of the chapter logo if needed.

A Red Hat Society Chapter Logo Usage contract must be completed if and only if a high resolution digital file is needed. If you are content to use the chapter logo file that is currently available on the web site (above), you do not need to complete the Chapter Logo Usage Contract.

To apply to receive a Red Hat Society Chapter Logo Usage contract, you must be able to prove that you are a member of an Official Chapter of the Red Hat Society, provide an exact description of the item on which you woud like to use the logo and the exact number of that item which will be produced. The item(s) will not be permitted to be offered for sale or used in conjuction with advertisement of commercial goods or services or other private organizations of any kind.

If you have already reviewed the sample text and would like to apply for one now, click "Fill out Chapter Logo Usage Contract Application" below.

Please note that not all applicants will receive a contract. Contracts will be granted based upon a group of determining factors, including volume of contracts available, time frame in which the digital file is needed, the nature of the item to bear the chapter logo. Please submit an on-line application for a contract at least two months in advance of when the item(s) bearing the chapter logo are needed.
