The Red Hat Society is the largest women's play group in the world! We are a global society of women that connects and supports women in their pursuit of fun, friendship, and sisterhood.
Since our inception in 1998, the Red Hat Society and our Members have sought to gain higher positive visibility for women and continue to reshape the way women are viewed by today's culture. We are simply not done yet! We see our activities as an opportunity for those who have shouldered various responsibilities at home, at work, and in their communities, to take a break from their obligations for a while. We provide permission to play!

What Do RHS
Members Do?
We enjoy a variety of fun connections online and gather in groups called chapters. We choose clever nicknames for ourselves, don regalia of red hats and purple attire for those over 50 and above, or pink hats and lavendar attire for those ladies under 50, and do exactly what we want to do! We go to movies, the theatre, window shopping, or grape stomping, We attend the RHS Intl Convention, and other events put on by chapters. We do lunch, have pirate parties, play bingo and bunko, or gather in our homes. we dress up or down.
There are as many different kinds of chapters as there are women in the society. Some meet in the daytime; other working members may choose to gather at night or on the weekend.
More information is available as we determine how to build your programs.
