1. What makes a good partner?
A business who is a market leader, has strong and established distribution channels, ability to market and sell their own products, and established infrastructure (product development, marketing, sales, financial systems).
2. How do I reach your Members?
You must first establish a relationship with us, either as an advertiser or a partner. Once this step is formalized, we will know how to approach this. It is determined on a case-by-case basis.
3. What if I just want buy use of your customer list?
Privacy of our Members is our #1 priority so we do not release their personal information. Once a formalized relationship is determined, RHS will be happy to facilitate the communication to our members through our marketing channels.
4. What if I just want to sell my product to you for resale?
Depending on the product and pricing, our online store, www.redhatsocietystore.com may be interested. Please contact sales@redhatsocietystore.com and provide them a photo and information about the product you wish to sell. The store buyer will follow up with you directly.
5. What if I just want to sell you my book?
You many send us an email to vendors@redhatsociety.com and we will contact you directly.
6. What about the calendar? Can't I just post my own events on it?
No, the purpose of the RHS calendar is to post chapter events, not promote any commercial product or personal event. You should not use your Red Hat Society affiliation as a means to advertise the sale of commercial products or services. We reserve the right to remove listings we believe is too commercial for this channel.
7. Can I just add the Red Hat Society logo to my product since that is my intended market?
Use of the Red Hat Society name, the Red Hat Society logo, Ruby RedHat, or any other intellectual property belonging to the Red Hat Society needs to be approved prior to use. A benefit of entering a business affiliation with RHS is to be able to use of our Intellectual Property when approved.
8. What if I am a theatre? Can I advertise our performances with you?
Of course! Our Members love to see live theatre productions, especially if you're offering us great deals! =)
9. What if I'm only a small 2-person shop?
RHS does business with many different types of businesses, large and small. No business is too small if its product offering adds value to our membership.
10. Is there a cost to advertise?
Yes, we charge for marketing and advertising.
11. What if I just have a simple question?
